Pennsylvania’s Endless Mountains stretches across the Northern Tier of the state encompassing the counties of Bradford, Sullivan, Wyoming and Susquehanna. Why are they Endless? Because they, and the views, go on forever. Remote State Forests and Parks dot the region. Small towns dominate, along with the hospitality that goes with them. And as the spring season awakens, and the forest canopy returns, we will explore secluded roads, fields, lakes and mountain overlooks.
This tour will be perfect for the new Adventure Rider who may not yet be ready for a longer, point to point ride that usually features a different location each night. Instead, this ride will begin and end each day in the Tioga County town of Mansfield, Pa. Lodging will be at an area bed and breakfast inn and hotel.
One dinner will be included at an area restaurant.
The 3 days of riding will feature loops averaging about 160 miles each day.
$1560 – including one meal, 3 nights of lodging and guide
The Day 1 loop is about 156 miles and will leave Mansfield and explore the forest roads in the area. We will then head west into Tioga State Forest in the area around Pine Creek Canyon. We will then work our way east back to Mansfield.
The Day 2 loop is approximately 163 miles and begins in the hills east of Canton then across the McIntyre Wilds area into Sullivan County, Muncy Valley and Rickett’s Glen State Park before heading back to Canton and Mansfield through the town of Forksville.
The Day 3 loop is about 100-125 miles so that everyone can get an early start home. The ride is primarily east of Canton. We will be spending most of our time in the Loyalsock State Forest. There are several awe inspiring overlooks on this loop along with expansive, pristine mountain lakes. We will also be traveling through World’s End State Park.

What Bike Should I Ride:
Any Adventure or Dual Sport bike can manage this ride.
What Type of Tires Should I Use:
While even street tires should be able to manage this ride, at least 50:50 type tires such as Heidenau K60 Scouts or MotoZ Tractionator GPS would be more preferable.
How About Gas:
Ideally you should have at least 75-100 mile range. This should be fine for most ADV bikes but smaller bikes may consider carrying extra fuel such as in a Rotopax.
How Difficult is the Terrain:
It can vary with the weather as recent rains can drastically increase the difficulty with mud becoming more of a factor. But generally this is a fairly easy ride with most sections being gravel or hard packed dirt.
What About Carrying Luggage:
Since we will be circling back to Mansfield each night, there should be no reason to carry clothes, except for maybe a sweat shirt or similar item if it gets chilly. Having a place on your bike to store these items if it warms up would be helpful. I will be carrying tools, as well as tools/air pump for changing flats. I will also have a couple spare tubes. You should plan on bringing an extra tube as well (whatever size will fit your front tire) and any tools that are specific for your bike.
Is Camping an Option:
There are options to camp. Let us know if that is something you would like to pursue.

This was my second tour with John, and it did not dissapoint. Day one held the most beautiful scenery in Pennsyvannia. The fall colors were in full bloom and the back roads were perfect. Due to a illness I was unable to finish day 2 and 3. If you are looking for a 3 day tour, this is it. Great people, great roads, great views.
Fantastic tour! Absolutely great organized. From the roads selection, viewpoints stops, lunch breaks, evening entertainment all was perfect! Will join as much more tours as possible. Thank You!!!
